Following the mission of responding to the human hurts and hopes of persons in Lake County who are homeless, we provide emergency shelter, care and ongoing guidance, in the name and for the sake of Jesus Christ.
Project Hope’s major programs:
Provide Shelter to the Homeless
The Project Hope shelter is open nightly from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. for up to 35 homeless men, women and children.
Offer Ongoing Support
A member of Project Hope’s staff provides support to former guests weekly via phone and in-person visits. This ongoing contact allows us to help with budgeting, healthy eating, addiction issues and much more.
Raise Awareness in the Community
For many in our community, homelessness is an invisible problem. Firebrands 11 and Project Hope’s Speakers Bureau allow us to bring information to the public that helps them understand the issues facing the homeless.
