The following volunteer opportunities are available:

	Evening Shelter Volunteer Assist with set-up of the shelter for the evening, serve dinner to the shelter guests, possible light chores, pack lunches, provide informal support to shelter guests. Work with other volunteers and two staff members. You will not enforce rules. Minors 15-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Evening volunteer shifts are from 7-11 p.m. A background check will be conducted.
	Overnight Shelter Volunteer Assist with set-up of the shelter for the evening, serve dinner to the shelter guests, possible light chores, pack lunches, provide informal support to shelter guests. You will not be asked to enforce rules. Minors 15- 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Overnight volunteer shifts are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Volunteers may sleep from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. in a private area of the shelter. A background check will be conducted.
	Morning Shelter Volunteer Assist staff and guests as they ready for a new day from 5:30 to 7 a.m. Volunteers will clean-up after a light breakfast, distribute lunches and chore supplies before sending off guests. A background check will be conducted.
	Meal Ministry The meals are an important component of this shelter program. Meal preparation must be done offsite, accommodate up to 40 clients and be delivered by 6:45 pm the day of the meal. Our shelter staff will assist in gathering the meal once it is dropped off at the shelter. If you are interested in also serving the meal, a volunteer orientation is required. 	Bible Study Leader Visit the shelter from 8:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays or Thursdays and share The Good News. An application, interview and orientation process is required before starting. Leaders will also be qualified shelter volunteers. Guidelines are supplied.
	Music Ministry Sing or strum a new song on Tuesday or Thursday nights. Choirs, soloists, youth groups, and the like are welcome to visit from 8:30-9:30 p.m. Groups are limited to 6 or less.
	Administrative & Professional Volunteer A variety of roles are available on an occasional basis. Help answer phones, make copies, prepare mailings or donate your professional services for technology, maintenance or repairs.
	Special Events Volunteer At various times throughout the year Project Hope needs help with holiday services or fundraisers. These tasks range from preparing mailings, decorating, soliciting, or attendance at special events.
	Special Needs Volunteer Provide packed lunches, much-needed funds or Wish List items. All are critical to the existence and financial base of Project Hope. Before doing so, consult with Project Hope to communicate ideas, plans, and receive support to make your endeavor a guaranteed success.
	Other At Project Hope, we are obedient to the Lord’s will. If you have skills or talents you would like to share and are not listed here or have limited time/capabilities, please speak with the volunteer coordinator to discuss how we can serve together.
